"I'm Gonna Getcha Good!" -- the first single from Twain's soon-to-be-released album Up! -- debuts this week at No. 24 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. In doing so, she becomes one of only three artists -- and the only female -- to debut in the top 25 during the 12 years the trade publication has based its charts on monitored radio airplay.
Twain's achievement places her in an elite club that includes Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. According to Billboard, Brooks debuted at No. 19 with his 1991 single "The Thunder Rolls" and Alan Jackson debuted at No. 25 in 2001 with "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)." CMT and MuchMoreMusic Premiere Video! Both CMT and MuchMore Music premiered today Shania's new video for her first single titled "I'm Gonna Getcha (Good)." According to an article posted on yahoo.com the video sounds very different from Shania's previous videos, and it really is: A wonderful animated video with futuristic effects! Yahoo reported that "Twain's new video promises to again raise the bar for music videos. "'I'm Gonna Getcha Good!' will be something different, something I've never done before," Twain told CMT. "There will be animation--very futuristic, and there's an edge to it. It will keep you a little bit on the edge of your seat. It's more of an action video, so it's different for me.
