Shania Outtakes! There is a website that has posted photos of Shania taken during previous photoshoots, probably for magazines. Some of them are at least 3 years old, but some others are very recent: like the Redbook magazine photoshoot. All of the photos seem to have been copyrighted by an agency in the Netherlands. Pre-Tour Interviews! Some Canadian newspapers have published interviews with Shania from her rehearsals in Hamilton this past week in preparation for the kick off of her new World Tour! The Hamilton Spectator especially has printed several articles on Shania and her sightings in town: "Sheltering Shania" on the rehearsals at the Copps Coliseum. The Toronto Sun has printed an article titled "Sounding UP!" by Jane Stevenson on Shania's concert and stage production in Hamilton: ""There will be a lot of surprises," Twain says. "Lots of pyro. ETALK on Shania! On September 18, "Etalk Daily" on  the Canadian TV channel CTV aired a short interview with Shania who is rehearsing in Hamilton to get ready for her world tour to start on Sep. 25! Shania talked about her upcoming concerts as "party atmosphere,lots of surprises,round stage no bad seats" and with her changing outfits 4 times a night! NEW Shania DVD - Nov. 18!!! Mercury Nashville has announced in an email newsletter that they will soon release a NEW Shania Twain DVD of the Chicago concert that aired on NBC on Aug. 19! "Mark your calendar on November 18th! Shania is releasing a DVD of her first US concert in over 2 1/2 years titled UP! LIVE IN CHICAGO featuring over 150 minutes of footage." Emerson Drive to Open For Shania! The Canadian country group "Emerson Drive" is scheduled to open for Shania on tour for the Ontario dates. Here's the announcement from CMT Canada: "EMERSON DRIVE TO OPEN FOR SHANIA. Great news for EMERSON DRIVE and for Emerson Drive’s Canadian fans in Ontario, as it was just announced that they will be opening for SHANIA TWAIN for her Up! World Tour dates in Hamilton on Sept. 25th, Ottawa on the 27th and Toronto on October 2nd and 3rd. TWO AMA Nominations! Dick Clark, Macy Gray and Jimmy Kimmel announced the nominees for the annual 31st "American Music Awards" today. The 20 awards will be handed out during a three-hour special on ABC, Sunday, November 16, hosted by Kimmel in Los Angeles. Shania recieved two nominations: one for Favorite Female Artist, and another one for Favorite Album for "UP!" Winners of the AMA awards are selected by the public. Good Luck Shania! New Thanksgiving Special? According to information posted at countrynation.com, Shania Twain will have another TV Special this fall, and it will air at Thanksgiving: "Twain for Turkey Week?
-- Westwood One News, quoting well-placed sources, is reporting that Shania Twain’s second NBC special will air on November 25th, and that it will be taped in NYC in early November.

Shania wins at CCMAs! Shania Twain won 4 CCMA Awards last night in Calgary! During the Canadian Country Music Awards show Shania received the CCMA award for Album of the Year (UP!), Top Selling Album (UP!), Video of the Year (I'm Gonna Getcha Good!), and Female Vocalist of the Year! Congratulations Shania! 
During the event, Shania also introduced Sylvia Tyson for her induction into the Canadian Hall of Fame. Shania sang for over two hours at the concert and invited fans up on stage. During the show she changed her outfits twice and had 3 encores at the end of the concert.
