"With a busy career and toddler son, Shania Twain reveals that what she wants most is a little alone time. "I'd like more free time," said Shania to Nashville IQ, "now that I have a child. Shania Suprises Wedding On Oprah! On November 16, Oprah aired a special episode about a dream wedding in Los Angeles. Shania On MuchMoreMusic. On November 9, 2004 the Canadian channel MuchMoreMusic aired a special biography titled: "The Story of...Shania Twain." According to an article in the Tennessean, Shania Twain's "Come On Over" album has now been certified DOUBLE Diamond, this means it has sold 20 million copies in the States ONLY!!! Congratulations SHANIA! This will become the seventh album in history to have been certified double diamond: Shania is the ONLY woman on the list to have achieved that! In the article titled "Twain's Greatest Hit: Her Stunning Success" by Brian Mansfield, Shania talks about her Greatest Hits CD and career goals: ""Everybody was sitting around going, 'How many records do you want to sell?' " Twain, 39, recalls. "I'm thinking, 'I don't even know what other people sell!' So I said, 'How many records do the top artists sell in country music?' They said 3 million. I said, 'OK, well, three. Shania On QVC! The night before the CMA Awards show, Shania Twain participated in a special one hour show on the QVC channel, LIVE from Nashville. The consumer channel was selling special combos of Shania's "Greatest Hits" CD and the Video Platinum Collection DVD, in addition to the "UP!Close and Personal" DVD. The QVC channel also had an exclusive tshirt for sale with the Greatest Hits CD cover on. The special combos new CD and DVD sold FAST: over 17,000 sold LIVE dsuring the one hour show! Shania Performs, Presents At CMAs! Shania Twain was a special guest on the 2004 Country Music Association Awards show on CBS on November 9. She introduced Brooks and Dunn's performance as well as giving away the Song of the Year Award at the beginning of the show. Later on, Shania performed LIVE her newest single "Party For Two" with Billy Currington, a rocking version of the song! Shania WINS BMI Award! The night before the CMA Awards show, Shania Twain's "Forever and For Always" won the 2004 BMI Award for Country Song of the Year! This was Shania's fourth BMI for song of the year so far. Congratulations SHANIA! "Shania Twain's "Forever and For Always" won country song of the year honors Monday from the music licensing agency BMI. 
The song, co-written by Twain and her husband, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, was the most performed country song of the year, based on U.S. broadcasts."

On November 2, after taping a CTV special on her very first visit to the Shania Twain Centre, Shania Twain officially cut the ribbon to the Shania Centre in front of a crowd of Super fans who had been cheering and celebrating the event all day long! Shania Plans to Write for A Year. Canoe.com has posted a new great article on Shania and her future. Jane Stevenson's "The Best of Times" in the Toronto Sun discusses an interview she had with Shania in Switzerland recently. ""Really my goal probably for the next year is just writing," said Twain, 39, relaxing on a couch in one of the hotel's ballrooms and dressed casually in a black hoodie, grey shirt and black pants with matching black boots. 
"I need to write again. So I don't know when the next album's going to be. I don't know when the next tour is going to be. Shania Radio Special with Lia! Shania Twain will participate in a Radio Lia Special from Nashville on November 5. The Shania Radio Special will air LIVE and will be on the air for 90 minutes, with Shania talking about her "Greatest Hits" CD and answering questions from the callers. "Something very exciting is happening on Lia's show Friday night, November 5th! Lia will be presenting “Shania Twain: Friday Night Live,” a world premiere album release event as part of her regular Friday night show. This special 90-minute spotlight will air live via satellite from Emerald Studios in Nashville beginning at 9pm Central , 7pm Pacific, 8pm Mountain and 10pm eastern. Shania To Promote in Germany! Polydor Island, Shania's German label, has announced that Shania will be at the Bambi Awards show in Hamburg on November 18. The TV show will air on ARD at 8.15 PM. Different Tracklist for Greatest Hits! According to Amazon.de and HMV.co.uk, it seems that the international version of Shania's "Greatest Hits" CD will have a slightly different tracklist. Instead of the country version of Shania's newest single "Party For Two", the international version of the CD will have an additional track from the UP! CD: "Ka Ching!". CMT Top 20 Countdown! Shania's new video "Party For Two" has entered the CMT Top 20 Countdown at #20! Shania was also on the CMT countdown newsbreak discussing how the video took 2 days to shoot. The second day of shooting taking until 5 am. Billy said if Shania called inviting him to a party for two again he'd do it. CTV has announced that the Canadian channel is working on a Shania Special to be taped in part during Shania's first visit to the Shania Twain Centre on November 2 and in part during Shania's co-hosting gig on the very next day on the morning show CANADA AM. "Shania Twain is coming home and she is bringing CTV with her. As announced on etalk Daily last night, CTV has secured an exclusive broadcast engagement with international recording superstar Shania Twain timed for her return to Canada and her hometown of Timmins, Ontario next month. The multiple JUNO, Grammy, CMA and CCMA Award winner will be the focus of an upcoming CTV prime-time special that will air later this Fall (exact date TBA). In addition to the one-hour exclusive, CTV also revealed that Twain has signed on for a one-day stint as co-host of CTV's Canada AM for a live, on-location broadcast from Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square, November 3." ABC's Party Block for Shania! As previously mentioned, Shania will participate in a live performance during "Good Morning America" on November 5. The show will air from Nashville, and Shania will sing four songs, including her latest single with Billy Currington "Party for Two." "ABC's Good Morning America and Shania Twain will be shutting down Lower Broadway on Nov. 5 for a live show and broadcast from Nashville, Sha-nay-nay's people confirmed yesterday.
GMA has a regular concert series in New York, but the show's starting off a women-who-rock fall series right here in Music City. Why Nashville for the first show? Shania on "Wetten, Dass..?" In Germany! On October 2, Shania Twain and Billy Currington performed Shania's new single from her Greatest Hits CD "Party For Two" on German TV. The ZDF channel aired the live show "Wetten, Dass..?" where Shania had already been as a guest in 2002. This was Shania and Billy's first performance together on TV for the single promotion in Europe. They both wore the same outfits they had in their video, but sang the pop version of the song. Real Timmins, Not in Movie. Vic Power, the mayor of Timmins, Shania's hometown, has come out with negative statements towards the production company that is currently shooting the Shania Movie in Sudbury. The mayor was very dissapointed that the movie was not being shot in Shania's real hometown, but in Sudbury instead. According to one of the articles, "The mayor of Shania Twain's hometown says it's a "horrible miscarriage of justice" that a film about the singing superstar won't be shot there.
"A movie about Shania Twain should be shot in Timmins," said Vic Power. 
"To me, that's a bit like making a movie about the Maple Leafs and filming it in Montreal."
A camera crew will be coming to the northern Ontario community to shoot background images of the city for the upcoming CBC-TV biopic, but no scenes will be filmed.

"She will offer QVC shoppers her Shania Twain Greatest Hits album specially packaged with the Platinum Collection DVD. A limited quantity of the CD/DVD sets will be autographed by Twain. Look for a moderate week. The video should boost spins but the affect may not impact until next week. Because Party For Two seems to be slowing, I expect a pickup in fan requests. This too will boost the song. Also, still 3 songs with 100+ losses, and more with 50+ losses. This song should go Top 20 this week."

The pop version has Mark McGrath it, whereas the country version has Billy Currington. "Shania will launch a multi-media campaign to promote her first Greatest Hits album, including an appearance on Good Morning America from Nashville on November 5th, a feature in Reader's Digest, an appearance on the CMA Awards and, coming in the next few weeks, a brand new video of "Party For Two."
