Dana from Rosiclare, IL A: Bryan White and LeAnn Rimes did not have plans to tour again before Wilbur Rimes recently accused them of becoming "romantically involved" when LeAnn was just 15. So, it's now even less likely they would do so any time soon. There is no indication that Shania will have any guest vocalists on her new album at this point." Shania In Video. According to the "What's New" page on the Official Mercury Nashville site, Shania is scheduled to be on CMT in December. I am told the way the couple works is Shania has her lyrics and ideas on the legal pad when she goes into the studio. Mutt looks them over, finds one he likes, and together they begin to build a melody that fits the lyrics; changing words; adding phrases; deleting lines; and building bridges, rhymes and rhythms, over and over until they get the groove and complete the masterpiece. Keep in mind, this could go on for days working on the same song. Most artists can't afford the luxury of building songs in a studio like Shania has been afforded with Mutt." A Country Christmas 2000. Shania's "God Bless The Child" has been included on a new Christmas CD, available at Target, titled: " A Country Christmas 2000." (Thanks shania.net!) A Shania's Recipe. This is one of Shania's favorite recipes, and it is from Shania Twain's personal chef. The recipe is called Penne Pasta With Roasted Vegetable Marinara. If you are all wondering where the recipe comes from, it is on the crookandchase website."Penne Pasta With Roasted Vegetable Marinara: 1 lb. penne pasta, ¼ cup olive oil, ½ tsp. salt, ½ tsp. black pepper, ¼ cup fresh basil, ¼ cup fresh oregano, ¼ cup fresh thyme, 3 Tbsp. chopped garlic, 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1 red pepper, large diced, 1 green pepper, large diced, 1 onion, large diced, 1 portabello mushroom, large diced, 1 carrot, large diced, 1 can stewed tomatoes. Garnish: parmesan cheese. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all vegetables and toss with salt and pepper, and olive oil. Roast for approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Sauté garlic with roasted vegetables for 2 minutes. Add stewed tomatoes (do not drain) and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes. Add fresh herbs, cook for 1 minute. Add parmesan cheese (optional). Y105, the country music station in Ottawa, is conducting a light-hearted poll in the spirit of Election 2000 (the Canadian one). Y105 is Canada's most listened to country music station as measured by the number of listeners. Their question reads: "What country artist would you choose to run the country?" The choices given are: Shania Twain, Paul Brandt, Garth Brooks, Michelle Wright and the Dixie Chicks. Shania is still ahead but Paul Brandt is pulling up fast and stands a real chance of winning the poll.
